Senior Environmental Modeler
Location: Orlando or West Palm Beach, FL
Education: Minimum M.S. in Environmental/Water Resources and B.S. in Civil Engineering
Experience: 7 to 10 years of direct and progressive experience in USA
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of challenging environmental and water resources modeling activities for multi-disciplinary projects. The typical modeling tasks may include surface water hydrology and hydraulics, ground water supply and contaminant transport, seepage analysis, watershed and water quality, ecosystem restoration, and/or TMDL and BMP evaluations. Perform project management, technical proposal writing, business development, and project control.
Requirements:

Detail oriented and good organizational and communication (oral and written) skill.

Demonstrated experience in ability to work well in a team environment; ability to work with minimal supervision on multidisciplinary teams; and ability to perform business development and proposal presentation.

Florida PE desirable.

Progressive and proven experience in application of USACE and FEMA approved surface water models such as HEC, RMA, SWMM, etc.

Progressive and proven experience in application of USGS ground water models such as MODFLOW, SEAWAT, MT3D, etc.

Direct experience in comprehensive model development for watershed, water resources and/or environmental related projects; Florida experience desirable.

Strong knowledge of surface water and ground water model interlink with ArcGIS and spatial analysis with ability to compile, review and analyze data.

Working knowledge of program modifications and code compilation is desirable.

High level of expertise in MS Office suite, specifically in Access, Excel and Word.

Experience in any of the following aspects is a definite plus:
- EPA, USACE and/or DoD Projects
- XML and C++ Programming
- Permitting (ERP, Consumptive Use, NPDES)
