Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Manager)
Location: Orlando or West Palm Beach, FL
Education: Minimum M.S. in Geotechnical and B.S. in Civil Engineering
Experience: 10+ years of direct and progressive experience in USA
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform project management, technical proposal writing, business development, and project control. Perform a wide range of challenging geotechnical engineering and construction management activities for civil engineering projects. The typical civil projects may include stormwater, roadway, drainage, environmental, water resources, water supply, land development, and/or utility projects.
Requirements:

Detail oriented and good organizational and communication (oral and written) skill.

Demonstrated experience in ability to work well in a team environment; ability to work with minimal supervision on multidisciplinary teams; and ability to perform business development.

PE is required, Florida PE desirable.

Progressive and proven experience in deep foundation (including pile foundation) projects, preferably in Florida.

Direct experience in roadway projects for local, state, and/or federal agencies, including FDOT projects.

Direct experience in comprehensive geotechnical investigation for water resources related projects (water control structures/pumping stations/reservoirs/canals/levees); Florida experience desirable.

Working knowledge of ArcGIS and spatial analysis with ability to compile, review and analyze data.

High level of expertise in MS Office suite, specifically in Excel and Word.

Direct experience in project management and construction inspection, preferably in Florida.

Experience in any of the following aspects is a definite plus:
- USACE and/or SFWMD Projects
- Seepage and Ground Water Modeling
- Primavera P3e
